Volumes
In the live environment the default rate limit per API key is 50 requests per second. If this is not suitable for your needs, please contact Client Care to discuss your requirements.
Compression
We recommend the use of GZIP compression to gain up to 80% reduction in the JSON data transfer.
Versioning and Backward Compatibility
A note about future releases: We will always maintain backward compatibility in our API so if there is a field that you consume, we will not remove or rename the field without appropriate communication/deprecation notice lead time. It is, however, important to ensure that any code written on your side is able to ignore any new fields that may be added in the future, or enumeration values.
