Creditflux announces annual 2021 award winners
The Creditflux awards are the only industry awards solely determined by data and metrics, showcasing the market’s best performers.
LONDON – 7 October 2021: The first live gathering of collateralized loan obligation (CLO) market participants since the COVID-19 pandemic met at London’s Landmark Hotel on 8 September, 2021 for the announcement of the Creditflux annual award winners. Some 250 individuals attended the socially distanced dinner and witnessed Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) win Manager of the Year for a record third time, during the Creditflux awards’ thirteenth year.
The awards process began in May, when over 110 submissions were made by managers for CLOs, CLO funds, or direct lending funds. After analyzing the data, a list of finalists was announced in July. The category winners were announced live during the Creditflux Manager Awards Dinner.
“Seventeen managers triumphed last week as the Creditflux Award winners for 2021 were announced in person at the Landmark Hotel for the first time in over two years,” said Sam Robinson, Head of Data at Creditflux. “The winners were selected from the 1,100 CLOs and 75 funds submitted by over 112 managers this year. The 19 categories looked at the top performers among US and European CLOs, mid-market and non-traditional CLOs, and CLO and direct lending funds. Submissions were judged purely on underlying data, making the prizes the most coveted in the industry.”
