Profile Active Datasets
In both the search results and the full profile payload, it is possible to determine which are the active datasets the profile is tagged in by reviewing the “datasets” node at the root of the profile.
Individuals:

In the case where datasets have qualifiers, such as PEP-CURRENT, PEP-FORMER and PEP-LINKED, a profile will only ever be tagged with one of the qualifiers. This indicates which is the active one.
