UK Gender Pay Gap Statement 2023

Fidessa Trading UK Limited (the “Company”) is committed to providing equal opportunities for all our employees. We work actively on maintaining an inclusive environment where everyone can reach their full potential.

We encourage our managers to implement this ethos in their actions. Our goal is to ensure that everyone is given the professional help and access to the resources they need for their individual development.

At Fidessa, our workforce currently comprises 82.1% men and 17.9% women. This ratio is broadly driven by a representation gap in experienced, specialist, and technical roles requiring niche technical and financial industry experience. While we pay men and women who do the same job equally, a gender pay imbalance exists due to a higher proportion of male employees in senior management positions. Improving the representation of women in senior positions remains a priority for us as we are increasing our female representation generally through our recruitment efforts.

Our commitment in action

Creating and maintaining an inclusive culture: We continue to develop our InclusION program, the main mission of which is to raise awareness and engagement with diversity and inclusion.

We have also launched Empower Hour – a monthly event, open to all staff where we focus on women’s professional growth, empowerment, and advancement.

Parent and Family support: We recently launched a support programme for mothers and mothers-to-be, as well as reviewing and updating our maternity and paternity leave policies. We continue to raise awareness about our shared parental leave policy.

Recruitment: We remain committed to increasing our female representation through our recruitment efforts.

Development opportunities and study sponsorship: We continue to invest in the professional development of our employees through our study sponsorship schemes and executive coaching sessions. We are committed to delivering an ongoing mechanism to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Our aim is to facilitate mastery of their current jobs, promotions, and transfers to new or different positions.

Compensation and benefits: We continue to monitor compensation for pay equality. We also continue to review our benefits offerings in an effort to attract and retain diverse talent.
