The Role:

The learning and development teams aims to establish a fully engaged and empowered workforce rapidly progressing ION’s strategic objectives, where personal and corporate growth are fully aligned. 

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will research, create and deliver management and professional skills content, live and recorded, to ensure that managers at ION have the ability to lead successful, appropriately skilled and motivated teams. 
Working with the Head of ION Academy, you will create a management pathway comprised of curated and proprietary content so that new and existing managers can achieve certification in management skills. 
You will successfully encourage managers to create personal development plans, linking their own skills development to management content. 
Working closely with the learning and development team, you will help identify company and individual development needs, especially in people management and interpersonal skills. 
You will help market your own management and leadership content using internal communications channels. 
You will maintain an organized development space on internal learning management systems. 

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Learning and Development 
Able to demonstrate knowledge of psychology and management topics 
Familiar with learning management systems
Excellent communication skills, including confident PowerPoint presentation skills and on-camera awareness
Knowledge and previous application of workplace learning theories
Knowledge of workplace inclusion principles 
Coaching and psychometrics experience
Ability to translate management theory into coherent real life examples
Direct experience of people management would be helpful, especially in a sales or fintech environment
Video editing and graphics design capabilities useful but not essential
