ION Analytics Information Security Officer – 7951

The Information Security team is responsible for all aspects of protecting ION Analytics products and services, maintaining our certifications, and managing our challenging client’s security questions. Our main offices are in Budapest, Hong Kong, London & New York.

Reporting into the ION Analytics Head of Information Security, the role will help create and maintain the Company’s Information Security strategy, policy, processes, and procedures, including ISO 27001 certification related documentation.

Ability to produce clear documentation and communicate with our Banking, Legal and Corporate clients.

Work closely with Group IT and Group Security functions to ensure that the company complies with the requirements of Regulators.

Works closely with internal and external auditors to identify and implement solutions to ensure adherence to the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Contributes to the monitoring of Company activities to identify information and data security risks.

Responsible for ensuring that the Company’s Information Security Policy is always adhered to.

To be able to undertake Security Incident Management and Response activities.

Facilitate information security audits performed by external, independent auditors.

Performs analysis of existing and proposed Products, Software Development & IT systems to identify information security risks.

Educates staff on information security policies, processes, and procedures.

Encourages employment of industry best practices related to information and data security.

Familiar with, or experience, in certifying for ISO 27000 series of standards and SOC II audits.

Experience working with or in IT Operations or Software Development.

Knowledge of IT systems, servers, networks in general, including cloud-based technologies.

Good understanding and enthusiasm for cybersecurity.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Relevant education is desirable such as a higher education degree, and/or working towards, or achieved, security certification, such Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementor.
