ION Analytics is growing. We are looking for a Head of Commercial Operations to oversee commercial reporting/analytics and sales-ops for the newly formed ION Analytics Commercial team, taking over BAU management from the project implementation team.
To manage the analytics and reporting function/team within the Commercial Management arm of ION Analytics
Coordinating stakeholders from commercial, finance and product to streamline inputs and optimise outputs, delivering data insights, reports and dashboards critical to understanding performance, tracking OKRs and improving productivity - examples being
Pipeline analytics/visualization – sales forecasting, upsell, cross-sell etc
Renewal maturity walls
KPI metrics (ACV, TCV, WACT…)
Product usage (frequency of use, nature of use, time of use)
Email and Campaign engagement information (open rates, clickthrough rates, recurrence rates)
Insight, Report and Campaign content
Data content (quality of data relating to timeliness, completeness, breadth etc)
To manage the sales ops and revenue recognition function within the Commercial Mgmt arm.
Sales Ops includes:
•Provide 1st level support for queries relating to the use of Salesforce
•Escalate issues to 2nd level support relating to:
•Salesforce system issues - escalate to SF administrators
•Account/Contact/Opportunity/Contract issues - escalate to Revenue Recognition team
•Handle basic administrative activities such as user maintenance, generation of reports/dashboards, updating account to segment mapping, updating account to sales director/engagement mapping
•Assist with training new users on basic Salesforce use (creation and updating of accounts, contacts, opportunities)
•Assist with data migration activities associated with moving Dealogic to Salesforce (de-duping Accounts, Contacts etc)
Revenue Recognition includes:
•Reconciling operational support systems (eg Salesforce, CKB, RMD etc) with contracts
•Entering commercial information into relevant systems (Salesforce, CKB, RMD etc) which in turn provides the basis for invoicing
•Storing contracts to facilitate easy access and retrieval
•Maintaining commission calculation rules
•Commission calculation and processing
•Monitoring licensing and alignment with contracts
•Overseeing user/trial provisioning
