The Role:

The Group Treasury team is a critical function within ION involved with strategic financial decisions, key transactions (M&A and financings), and cash/liquidity management. The team consistently engages with all parts of the organization as well as senior management. As a General Analyst, you will have responsibility for the management of key tasks, primarily within the Group Treasury team but also within Group Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and executing regular funding plans to ensure an efficient funding process is in place
  • Identification and analysis of funding requirements for entities within the ION Group
  • Work closely with Group Finance to assist with bank reconciliations
  • Manage queries from all stakeholders (both internal and external) on a timely basis, ensuring best-in-class service is provided at all times
  • Focus on continuous improvement of finance and treasury workflows via the use of existing and new technology solutions
  • Assist with transformation projects
  • ‒  Bank Rationalization
    ‒  Acquisition Integration
    ‒  Cash pooling 

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Organized self-starter, who is goal oriented and possesses the intellectual curiosity to be a problem solver
  • Ability to work independently, while also being a team player
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, while ensuring tasks are completed on time in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively & persuasively to both internal & external stakeholders
  • Conscientious and methodical approach, with the ability to analyze and connect the dots
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in finance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of in a financial or treasury related role

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Ability to identify areas for possible improvement and to project manage change initiatives
  • Experience of working in a multinational environment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
