The Role:

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Finance Analyst to join the Canouan Development Corporation Finance team. The Dublin based team is responsible for the day-to-day management of a luxury hospitality business and property development project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares financial documents and reports for management, shareholders, statutory or other bodies
  • Prepares audits accounts and book-keeping records
  • Payment analysis and processing
  • Conducts financial investigations concerning customer billing and non-payment
  • Invoice preparation and posting
  • Evaluates financial information for management purposes
  • Liaises with management and other professionals to compile budgets and other costs
  • Prepares periodic accounts, budgetary reviews, financial forecasts and flash reporting
  • Identifies problems concerned with business strategy, policy, process and procedures,
  • Determines the appropriate method of data collection and validation methodology, analyses and interprets information gained and formulates and implements recommendations and solutions
  • Ability to prepare and maintain complex models – must be comfortable handling large data sets

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • 3-5 years corporate experience within Finance
  • Undergraduate/Postgraduate with a 1.1 or 2.1 degree
  • 450+ CAO points at Leaving Certificate (or equivalent)
  • You are skilled at using in-depth analysis to get to the bottom of complex issues
  • You can take responsibility and ownership for your work, for which you are held accountable

  • You have strong problem-solving capabilities
  • You have the willingness to challenge the status quo and focus on continuous improvement
