The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SOC2 compliance and possess excellent client-facing skills. This role is critical in ensuring our company adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains the trust of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 27001 standards. Knowledge of SOC2 is beneficial.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and certifications are maintained. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client audit requirements, requests for information, any compliance-related inquiries, new business engagements and maintaining security whitepapers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends to senior management.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and requirements.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar are a plus.
