The Role:
ION GTP is an industry leading comprehensive derivatives solution for the trading community. GTP is an integrated execution and order management sell-side system with innovative high, low and no-touch trading. GTP is the #1 Cleared Derivatives execution product on the market and we are growing the team and adding new innovations/functionality to this solution.
The Cleared Derivatives product team is looking for a Product Manager to work in the order management and execution space. This role provides the opportunity to add value to all aspects of the trading platform and work closely with customers to deliver integrations with their systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Represent ION Cleared Derivatives products and services to customers through discussion, documentation, presentations and demonstration
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Implementations, Product Managers, Development Managers and Delivery Management) to support delivery of GTP solutions
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories
- Review and produce technical connectivity documentation
- Support Delivery Management in customer on boarding and system integration
- Support sales during sales process providing product demonstrations and assisting with responses to RFI’s/RFP’s
- Support Account management in the scoping and analysis of enhancements and extensions to the product
- Provide regular product and road map updates to the business sponsors
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years working in the financial technology sector as Product Manager, Senior Business Analyst, Technical Account Manager or an experienced Derivatives Trader
- Understanding of the cleared derivatives market, especially exchange traded
- Ability to analyse customers' business problems and specify business requirements
- Excellent reporting, communication and written/oral presentation skills
- Ability to communicate confidently and concisely using specialist business acumen
- Comfort and resilience in multi-tasking
- A self-starter who is an organized, detailed and proactive collaborator
- Strong technical awareness and familiarity with exchange APIs
- Strong presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of FIX protocol
- Experience of working with APIs
- Previous experience with the Fidessa GTP platform
- Experience writing product specifications in a Product Management or Business Analysis context
