Allegro seeks an experienced QA Engineer II who will work in one of ION Scrum teams to test, create use cases document and support a service-oriented Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) software solution for power and gas utilities, refiners, producers, commodity traders, retailers and consumers utilizing Microsoft Technology stack and databases such as MSSQL and Oracle.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the use case development, testing and support of Allegro's Commodity and Risk Management software
- Develop and/or maintain Test Suites
- Adherence to Agile Methodology
- Participate as an active Product Owner in a Program Increment execution
- Responsible Functional and Non-functional testing
- Test Automation
Competencies
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Collaborate with product managers on requirements, user stories
- Collaborate with development leaders on design, enabler stories
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Having knowledge in accounting, profit and loss calculation/report, or any other financial reports is a plus
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of software testing
- Experience writing SQL queries for SQL Server, Oracle or similar
- Experience with Agile Methodology
- Medium to Advanced Excel knowledge
- Experience with Test Automation
- Experience with API Testing
- Experience in testing enterprise software and experience in shipping successful projects in an Agile environment
