What are we trying to do?
Establish a long term consultative relationship with the client through positioning the commercial value proposition of the ION capital markets solution.
What do we need help with?
We need help with transitioning from a transactional vendor relationship to a consultative enterprise relationship.
What you will do?
· Contract negotiations
· Strategic account planning and penetration reports
· Pipeline management
· Lead generation for cross - selling efforts
· Cultivate relationship by positioning ION commercial value proposition.
What you’ll need to know:
Required capabilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or any business related field
· A strong understanding of capital markets
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills
· Enhanced analytical skills
· Expectation of travel
Preferred Capabilities:
· Ability to work within a team
· Strategic thinking
· Strong sense of ownership
Who you are:
The Commercial Account Manager is able to position the Ion commercial value proposition of partnering up
with the firm over an extended period of time demonstrating the beginning stages of a long term consultative
relationship. Based on communicating with the client both telephonically and on-site over several commercial
negotiations, the “decision makers” at the client are comfortable with inviting the Ion team to present an all in
solution with the capital markets division. The client understands the mutual value both commercially and
technically that an Ion full solution across the capital markets can bring. This translates into a long term
consultative relationship that the client feels yields a competitive advantage.
