The Role:
The goal of the Senior Business Consultant is to contribute to the success of ITS implementation projects by providing specific software and industry experience while ensuring customer satisfaction, contributing to best practices of the group and mentoring other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as (Lead) Business Consultant on implementation projects on one or more functional areas.
- Assume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases of the ITS implementation, reporting to the Project Manager.
- Serve as the client’s principal point of contact for consultation and expert advice.
- Provide industry and functional advice and troubleshooting in the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of the ITS solution for the client’s business needs.
- Present the ITS solution to client users.
- Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project as determined by the Project Manager and Lead Business Consultant.
- Keep Line Manager and Project Manager(s) informed regarding the status of assigned responsibilities.
- Follow ION documentation standards and resolution process flow for all deliverables.
- Maintain full chargeability on client account(s) as assigned.
- Liaise with ION Product Management to exchange information on the latest developments in the industry to improve the ION products.
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge in the Treasury business with one or more of the following areas:
- Cash Management: bank connectivity, bank statement reconciliation, pooling & sweeping, cash position.
- Payments: payment processing and workflows, payment formats, on-behalf payments, payment factory.
- Funding & Debt: short-term debt, long-term debt, trade finance, credit lines.
- Investments: money market deposits & funds, capital markets & equities.
- o In-house banking: intercompany loans, internal trading, multilateral netting.
- o Risk Management: foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, valuations, hedging, counterparty risk, scenario analysis, value at risk.
Salary Range:
We are legally required to mention the compensation for this position. The offered gross yearly salary starts at EUR 43.078,- gross/year (38,5 hours / week) excluding overtime, depending on qualification and experience.
