Social plugins

 ION websites may also offer you the ability to interact with social plugins from social media sites such as Google+ (plus.google.com), Libsyn (libsyn.com), YouTube (youtube.com), Facebook (facebook.com), Linkedin (linkedin.com) and Twitter (twitter.com). Those social media sites may receive data when you visit a website that contains plugins. In some cases, we may know that you clicked on a social plugin such as a Facebook Like button, or receive other information from the social media sites. Similarly, if you have previously provided personally identifiable information to a third-party operating a plug-in on an ION website, then that third-party may recognize you on that website. EU-US Privacy Shield

All relevant US members of the ION Group (“ION Privacy Shield Companies”) comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and the United Kingdom to the United States in reliance on Privacy Shield. The ION Privacy Shield Companies have certified that they adhere to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. The ION Privacy Shield Companies have further committed to cooperate with the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved Privacy Shield complaints concerning human resources data transferred from the EU in the context of the employment relationship.

The ION Privacy Shield Companies are subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC). You may also refer a complaint to your local data protection authority. The ION Privacy Shield Companies have committed to work with EU data protection authorities to resolve any concerns, and have committed to comply with the advice given by such authorities. In certain circumstances, the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework provides the right to invoke binding arbitration to resolve complaints not resolved by other means, as described in Annex I to the Privacy Shield Principles.
