The Role:

The team provides business and technical assistance and is responsible for the installation and upgrade of all Asset Management products. The team will be expected to provide a broad range of technical and systems integration consulting services to customers, helping them to implement, upgrade and support ION’s Asset Management enterprise, hosted products, and services throughout the North America region. The team also develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the application’s functionality and how it can be used to meet customers specific objectives, helping to ensure that they realize the full potential of product and associated Asset Management services.

Key Responsibilities:

 Accountable for the successful delivery and implementation of technical deliverables of the project in the agreed timelines
Design, installation & configuration of the Buy-side Enterprise product suite and systems 
Integration components to allow for integration of ION Asset Management products with Third Party systems and ION’s hosted services
Contribute to the project scoping, planning and estimation process for green field implementations, upgrades and solutions consulting engagements.
Specification, of minor enhancements to Integration components.
Develop XSL transforms, database scripts, spreadsheet applications as necessary for Systems Integration
Perform systems architecture, capacity and performance reviews at customer sites and provide recommendations / impact assessment on change either as part of a planned upgrade or solutions consulting engagement
Implement environment management, source control and structured delivery methods
Contact point between customer and development team, documenting both technical and workflow issues.
To provide on-site support for the Buy-side Enterprise product suite before, during and after roll-out, until handover to Production Support team.
Deliver presentations and conduct workshops to communicate technical architecture and systems Integration configuration
Preparation and maintenance of internal client environments  
Execution of deployment test for new releases 
Diagnose and resolve technical issues 
Deliver technical training to internal and external stakeholders  
Assist account managers to identify consulting opportunities, such as ad-hoc consultancy assignments.  
Time management – That allocated project task are completed in the time-frames specified and recorded accurately.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Several years of hands-on experience in a similar role
Ideally you will have experience of implementing and integrating financial systems for the buy-side
Highly organized self-starter
Must exhibit a flexible, hands-on & can-do attitude
Strong technical aptitude, ability to pick up new technologies
Strong documentation and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Strong analytical approach to problem solving
Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships both with customers and internally
Able to travel extensively and spend protracted periods of time located on the customer’s site
Able to work in a pressurized environment to meet time critical deadlines
Technical skills to cover Windows Server, Linux RHEL, SQL, database administration (SqlServer / Oracle), and experience with scripting languages.
