Software Tester – 7690

A unique opportunity has arisen to join our in-house automation team as a software tester. Our team is responsible for the development and support of an in-house revenue lifecycle management system which is of high strategic importance to the business. The system is complex, includes multiple integrations and is expanding rapidly. 

The successful candidate will work within a small team, where they will be involved in both determining the strategy and execution of our test processes as well as involvement in the design of new features. We rely on exploratory testing, with very little scripted test execution so a curious mind and critical thinking skills are essential to success in the role. We are currently also looking to transition to automated regression which provides an exciting opportunity to get involved in this project. 

Review and provide input to requirements for new features

Determine testing strategy and conduct exploratory testing for new features

Writing and executing regression test cases

Documenting requirements for bug fixes and enhancement requests

Liaising with developers and business analysts on features in development

1:1 / 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics backgrounds preferred)

2+ years exploratory testing experience

Experience testing system integrations

Candidates should also demonstrate a strong drive and passion to succeed in the role, have a self-starter attitude and detail orientated mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Experience with automated regression

Experience with CRM or ERP systems

Experience with Oracle databases

SQL
