The Role

This Software Developer position is available within our Desktop Technology development team. The team is primarily responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Openlink’s User Interface technology and frameworks.  In addition to maintaining and enhancing GUI frameworks, this team maintains and enhances a variety of vertical and horizontal business functionality for more general use throughout Openlink.  We continue to build valuable business solutions for customers as well as internal solutions that support robust business scenario testing.

Key Responsibilities

•You will work with developers, leads/managers, architects, testers, and other team members to understand the project requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.  
•You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting software components with a focus on User Interfaces for both desktop and web applications all within the context of our enterprise trading system solutions.
•You will play an integral role as a Software Developer within an agile team setting using scrum, lean, and Kanban approaches, contributing individually and as a cross-functional member of our development team.  
•You will be involved in planning, designing, constructing, and delivering valuable solutions to our customers and stakeholders.  
•You will be responsible for all aspects of the solution delivery lifecycle, which will include close collaboration with team members and stakeholders so that we continue to build appropriate solutions to complex problems, with the highest possible quality outcomes.  
•You will be responsible for understanding UI design patterns as well as UX principles, and be able to utilize these skills while developing client/server desktop and web applications and application frameworks. 

Required Skills,Experience and Qualifications

•Strong computer science background, algorithms, data structures, quality and testing, service-oriented architecture.
•Must demonstrate strong programming competency in C#, Java, and SQL.
•Must have strong Object-Oriented design skills and deep knowledge of Design Patterns in C#, Java.
•Should have good working knowledge of C/C++. 
•Must demonstrate strong debugging skills using Visual Studio, Java Development Environments.
•Must work well within a team utilizing agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Disciplined Agile.
•Must have 3-5 years of experience working on client/server enterprise applications. 
•Must have experience in one or more of the following: 
- WinForms Desktop controls using Infragistics, DevExpress  
- Web Applications using HTML5, JavaScript, Angular
•Must be learning-oriented, creative, and passionate about delivering quality solutions.
