The Role:
ION (Core Architecture Division - UI) provides a flexible User Interface: Multi-device, responsive, cross-technology container. ION Desktop team provides a user interface framework for MS Windows workstations based on Microsoft .NET. The framework has been used extensively to build a trading front end for our capital markets customers. Furthermore, ION Desktop framework provides an interoperability framework to facilitate integration of legacy, in-house, 3rd-party or web applications no matter the underlying technology.
We are looking for a senior front-end developer who is proficient with front end technology (.NET/C# preferably). The candidate must have a strong interest towards learning the business domain (capital markets, fixed income) and skills to interface with ION Desktop customers (top tier 1 financial institutions) to help solve their real-world business problems (with technology as an enabler).
