The Role:

Dealogic, L.L.C. seeks Regional Data Manager in New York, NY. As a Data Manager, you will work closely with other functions within IONA to successfully fulfil the client strategy. You will be responsible for the team of analysts based in the same location, overseeing training and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Coverage & Quality
  • Responsible for the team of analysts based in the same location, overseeing training and development.
  • Ensure data ingestion for respective regional market is fully covered.
  • Direct stakeholder for data strategy and prioritization for the respective market.
  • Ensure data quality is at the highest standards and regularly assess quality and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Responsible for the delivery of quarterly Rankings.

  • Criteria Ownership
  • Escalation point on data-related client queries and challenges. Actively participate on the analysis and decision related to challenges and publishing of documentation.
  • Engage with clients for market standards and criteria conversations (Forums / consultations) and accompany data evolution.

  • Data Quality Guarantee 
  • Provide suggestions for quality control standards and KPIs for overall data within markets.
  • Consult on the production of detailed process documents for each process and task to ensure consistency and data quality.
  • Work on the creation and maintenance of KPI dashboards to monitor coverage, completeness, timeliness, and usage metrics on the back of client input.

  • Ion Analytics Automation
  • Actively participate on the development of new tools for automation of entry systems and processes that lead to improvements on data productivity and quality standards whilst ensuring the upholding of client value.

  • Training & Support 
  • Provide domain-related training to IONA staff when needed.
  • Provide criteria support to Data staff on complex deals.
  • Provide support to IONA stakeholders on market relevant queries regarding the region and/or domain.

  • Client Value
  • Work closely with other functions within IONA to successfully fulfil the client strategy.
  • Create added client value through expansion of coverage or enabling better data taxonomy.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • One year of work experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept 3 years of work experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Salary Range: 

The estimated salary range is $118,500 - $125,000.
