Production Manager (Events) – 7583

This role sits within the Community Management team and is responsible for overseeing the quality, timely production and distribution of a variety of content (both print and digital) aimed at significantly increasing engagement with our platform. You will work closely with internal teams (editorial, design, sales etc.), external clients and suppliers, becoming an expert in all aspects of our production workflow. You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.

Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination with internal teams (incl. editorial, design, sales)
  • Liaison with clients (incl. law firms, advisory firms, corporates)
  • Liaison with suppliers (incl. printers, journalists, proofreaders, conference call providers)
  • Quality control, including proofreading and other editorial/production checks
  • Checking data and charts against original Excel files
  • Booking and overseeing conference calls, including managing schedules, call details and transcriptions
  • Image research using sites such as iStock, Getty Images, Shutterstock and Alamy
  • Producing/overseeing timelines
  • Producing/maintaining flatplans
  • Making corrections and updates to files in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Checking print PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Pro and printer proofs
  • Producing, checking and scheduling email campaigns via an online email marketing platform
  • Uploading publications to company websites
  • Assist with monitoring production costs, processing and filing invoices
  • Managing the archiving of file copies (print and PDF)
  • Assisting with the production of marketing material for events.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Bright, confident and engaging manner
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (predominantly Word and Excel).

  • Preferred
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional
  • Client-facing experience
  • Knowledge of (or interest in) corporate finance.
