We are looking for a talented Lead UX Architect to help define our new Design System. With products used by over 40% of the world’s largest companies this is an opportunity to create a new design system on a scale and complexity like few out there.
We are looking for someone who is an expert in user-centred design, experienced working with design systems and enjoys complex domains.

Your Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and evolve UX guidance, components and patterns for use across the organisation
- Collaborate with product teams to understand how our design system can support them
- Collaborate with Product, Development and the full UX team to improve our processes and ways of working so everyone on their product team can focus on delivering high quality work
- Work with teams across the organisation to champion adoption of the guidelines
- Proactively embed inclusive design principles in your work and throughout the team
- Communicating the rationale behind your research and design decisions
- Being the voice of the user in design decisions and be comfortable challenging an “it’s always been done this way” mindset
- Collaborating with Visual Designers who will create the final pixel perfect visual designs
- Helping establish an inclusive, collaborative, and creative team culture
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- 8+ years of UX experience
- An excellent understanding of UCD
- Experience working on or contributing to a complex design system
- Experience designing complex products with significant scope
- Knowledge of interaction design best practices, design system best practices such as use of tokens and how to design inclusively
- Experience working collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers
- Expertise with tools such as Figma
- Energy, passion and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and unknowns
- Very good level of spoken and written English
