The Role:

In this role you will focus on the rollout and maintenance of our Core ERP system, NetSuite, across the ION Group. This system is the source of truth for our core financial processes and ledgers, so is of critical importance to the business. You will work within our Core ERP team with a particular emphasis on both supporting the needs of our existing GL users as well as onboarding new acquisitions to the Group systems and processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

Providing support and assistance to our Management Reporting, Audit and Tax Teams on accounting and tax-related issues they are experiencing while using NetSuite
Liaising with users on system improvement requests and planning / co-ordinating any resulting system enhancements or customisations with our NetSuite technical team
Providing a key communication channel between newly acquired finance teams and the Business Integration Function for the ION Group   
Assistance with planning and managing the initial phases of system onboarding projects including setting timelines, drafting project plans, gathering system requirements, setting project scope, and managing key stakeholders.
Co-ordinating and assisting stakeholders with key project phases including system configuration, user acceptance testing, data collection, data migration, and training
Preparation and maintenance of project assets including process documentation, data collection templates, import master files, and project reporting logs  
Providing a consistent review and feedback mechanism for stakeholders to ensure ION Group standards around processes and data are upheld throughout project. 
Identification and resolution of any risks or issues that arise during the course of a project including maintenance of project RAID log 
Preparation of training documentation and delivering training session to end users in advance of project Go Live.
Monitoring of project progress relative to project plan and periodic reporting to senior stakeholders within the project and business teams
Consistent focus on team process and system improvements with a view to optimizing team performance and improving all future onboarding projects undertaken

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Bachelors' degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business.
ACA or ACCA qualification
3+ years consultancy experience
Experience working in project-based or deadline driven environment
Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing).
Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodology.
Excellent problem-solving ability, using strategic and creative thinking to transform processes and organizations. 
High level of critical thinking to develop solutions across multiple situations. 
Strong business analytics skill and fluent IT literacy in proposing and executing solutions.
Previous experience using cloud-based ERP systems (experience with NetSuite ERP provides a major advantage)
