The Role:

The Finance function is the nerve centre for ION Group and its subsidiaries and helps provide all aspects of financial direction to support our groups strategic decisions. The principles and smooth running of this function is fundamental to the institution and through rigorous, collaborative, and long term thinking the Finance function gives us the foundation to achieve the groups ambitious objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the accounting team you will have responsibility for critical processes across the Fidessa Group. Some key tasks will include:
Ownership of the global prepayments process
Analysis and reporting of monthly Profit and Loss account movements
Assist with the GRNI analysis and continuous improvement of that process
Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts
Provide insight and analysis to stakeholders within the business
Assist in creating a Centre of Excellence for General Ledger management with world-class scalable processes to drive integration and transformation of the finance function

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications :

The Financial Analyst role requires a blend of Accounting, Financial Reporting, Presentation skills, Data Management and Technological know-how.

For this role, some previous experience would be beneficial, including: 
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience of SAP
1.1 or 2.1 degree in any field preferred
