About the role
We’re looking for a credit control specialist that can assist in the accurate and efficient cash collection for the entire ION Group. Specifically, we’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good business acumen for problem solving and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload. This role will collaborate with the internal commercial, legal, tax and billing teams as well as with senior management. We are a rapidly expanding company which means you must be comfortable working in fast paced atmosphere where juggling numerous priorities and deadlines is the norm.
Your Roles and Responsibilities
•Manage assigned customer base as part of the credit control team
•Communicate with our client via emails and phone calls to ensure customers adhere to their agreed payment terms
•Become escalation point for all high risk or over trading customers whilst recommending appropriate action to be taken
•Support the Credit Control Manager in providing a professional credit control service to the business whilst providing accurate, timely and relevant information
•Work closely with the other teams and senior management to resolve queries in an
accurate, timely manner
•Recommending improvements to credit control policies, processes and procedures
•Take initiative to automate daily tasks and help integrate newly acquired entities to the group processes. Lead the initiatives and report improvements to bring projects to close.
•Provide ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
•Reconcile and post all client receipts
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
•High level of numerical ability
•Team orientated with the ability to work on your own initiative
•Proven ability to multitask and take ownership of projects
•Ability to reconcile complex accounts
•Superior attention to detail
•Advantage but not required: a high proficiency of excel
•Advantage but not required: experience using Microsoft 365
