Wondering where to eat in the Morris-Smith St. area?

lana-restaurant.gifLana, serving Monday through Saturday: lunch 11 am-3 pm, dinner and tapas 6 pm until, and bar 5 pm until.  The Spanish and Italian-inspired menu has most of its vegetarian dishes in the tapas and lunch sections.  The panini are excellent, and the tapas extensive.

fiveloaves.jpgFive Loaves Cafe, serving lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday from 11 am-9 pm.  Be sure to try their gnocchi with creamy goat cheese sauce, golden raisins, and a balsamic reduction.  Five Loaves is vegetarian-friendly and has an excellent wine list, with half-off bottles of wine every Friday.

hominy-grill.jpgHominy Grill, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-8 pm, and brunch Saturday and Sunday 9am-3 pm.  The New York Times, Food and Wine Magazine, and the Food Network’s $40 a Day have all raved about Hominy Grill’s innovative, yet decidedly Southern, menu.  Some vegetarian entrees.  Make sure you save room for dessert, though; the carrot cake here is to die for.  At 207 Rutledge Ave.
