I’On Group’s Community Views Tent Huge Hit at Food and Wine Fest

Mar 3rd, 2008 | By Elizabeth Pandolfi | Category: I'On Group

The I’On Group’s Community Views tent was a big success, with great local food and plenty of interested (and hungry) visitors. Local chefs cooked up beautiful dishes like creole shrimp, mussels, and chocolate fondue with strawberries while festival-goers learned about how far their food travels to reach them, and how to shorten that distance by learning where to find good SC produce. Lowcountry Local First and the Coastal Conservation League were also present in the tent, with lots of insight into how the way we eat affects the our fellow people, wildlife, and landscape. We had a delicious AND educational time, and hope that many of you were able to make it out to Marion Square!
