Dutch Company Uses Solar Energy from Asphalt to Heat Buildings
This Dec. 31, 2007 article from the Associated Press describes the success of a civil engineering firm Ooms Avenhorn Holding BV with its system to capture solar energy from roads and parking lots. Located in the Netherlands, Ooms Avenhorn came up with the system 10 years ago–then, everyone deemed it ridiculous.   Now, the company helps to heat offices, apartment buildings, and even airplane hangars. Follow the link below for the full article.
